Hi, I've been using Tracks (hosted on a server on my home network) for a while (1.043) and I recently tried out the trunk (some great improvements in there) and noticed that the performance is much worse.
My system isn't very speedy (450Mhz), but it's not doing too much else. Home is taking >6 seconds according to firebug (which means I'm not counting rendering time). Hitting the edit button on a task takes about 2 seconds. Saving an update takes about 3-4 seconds. During this time ruby pegs CPU usage at 100% (using top). In 1.043 all these actions were < 1 second and ruby rarely registered using top. I'm using fastcgi under apache (but I get similar numbers using lighttpd/fastcgi). I noticed nothing ever shows up under tracks/tmp/cache, not sure if it should or not. I am running in production mode. Any suggestions/thoughts/etc. appreciated. I love tracks BTW (didn't want to sound all negative).
