As many pointed out, this could potentially open up Tracks to a much wider audience. Existing users would also find cool ways to interact with the application.
It is also nice to see Tracks being pimped on the announcement post http://joyeur.com/2007/05/01/slingshot-public-release As for release priority imo 1.5 should come out first. While it is ok to work with Sligshot in parallel, it really would be a bummer if the release date of 1.5 (it-comes-when-it-comes) is delayed due to work on Sligshot.
