Thanks for all the suggestions guys. It is a bummer that RoR hosting is so much more costlier than normal vanilla hosting. I guess the fact that they can't pack too many accounts into the same machine without hitting performance of RoR apps must be the reason.
Maybe when CPanel 11 support for RoR is mature enough (Stage 2 stable?), more hosting providers will support it?
