This happens to me fairly regularly. Currently, if you type part of a context name, the rest fills in automatically and you hit enter and you select it. But if you are too fast with the enter, you add the todo and a new context is created with the partial entry you made. The application flashes a red error box, but the context still gets created. I was also going to submit a bug report, but my trunk is a little old now and I was not sure if it had gotten changed, so I was thinking I should get a fresh trunk and see what the state is.

I guess I am hearing that this is still the case. The best behavior in my mind would be, when you enter a partial context a popup so appear asking you to confirm that you want to add a new context. If you cancel it takes you back so you can fix the issue.

This has happened to me on occasion. Maybe the answer is to use a javascript confirmation for dynamic context creation (which is pretty rare).

Hey, all-

Maybe I'm just prone to fat-fingering, but I am the only one having
subtle-ish problems with the new, more dynamic context entry in trunk?
In particular, twice now I've accidentally created new contexts-
'errand' once (I already have errands) and 'waitingfor' (when I
already have waiting for) and didn't notice until much letter when I
could have sworn that I'd created an entry in a context and couldn't
find it.

I'm not sure how to fix it, but it is sort of irritating to me, and I
wanted to know if I was alone in that before I filed a bug :)
