I'm new to the list, but I would really like to have Markdown, since it's what I use everywhere else. I mostly need links and lists -- everything else (and Textile has a LOT more) is mental overhead to me, as is having to remember the differences between Textile and Markdown. I'm not claiming that Markdown is better in any objective or universal sense -- just handier for *me*. Thanks!
