I was unable to find a "only send me emails about tickets I've

If you feel that you are getting spammed after adding a ticket, you
can edit
you email settings on the Stream tab. You can narrow the filter to
only send
an email for events you are interested in. For example, I have
removed the
code updates, because I personally use google reader to follow the
rss from
github.
I don't think that standard users (i.e. team members) have control
over which kinds of tickets you get notified about (though you can
choose to get a daily digest email, which will reduce your alerts to
just one email per day, and is probably sufficient for those who just
want to keep an eye on progress).
However, I did find an admin setting for email notificiations: These
are the options:
• Email ticket changes to all users that subscribe to ticket alerts.
• Email ticket changes to subscribers and to the assigned user and
the notification list.
• Email ticket changes only to the assigned user and the notification
list.
I've got it set on the first one. The last looks attractive, but I
think that only the reporter and the person to whom the ticket is
assigned would then get a notification, not others who have commented
on the ticket, and are probably therefore interested in it. But I may
be wrong here. Let me know what you want me to do - I can change the
setting.
Also, it's worth saying that if you'd like to just keep an eye on
things but don't want to receive emails, you can deselect all of the
events to be emailed about in the stream tab, and then subscribe to
one of the RSS feeds. There are feeds for many of the components on
different tabs, or if you go to the Stream tab, you can get a feed of
all the events.
