I'm not sure that I understand your question. I tried sending an email which failed (below) and, later, also a text which failed which an (obviously) truncated error in the sms text.
I'm hosting on WestHost and a forum there says "At WestHost sendmail is the MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) and procmail is the LDA (Local Delivery Agent)."
