It would help if you could explain your use case. Do you want Tracks to mail
you your todos, or do you want to email Tracks in order to create a todo?

On the /intergrations page there is some info on sending yourself emails
about upcoming due todos. This will need changes to your binami virtual
machine (sendmail/postfix). For the other way around you need to have access
to a mailserver too in order to forward an email to tracks using REST or
SOAP (scripts are floating around).

Smtp/imap is not supported, or someone steps up and write a script that
reads all email from an imap inbox and forwards them to Tracks :-)

Hope this helps a bit,

Reinier

Onderwerp: [Tracks-discuss] setup tracks to use a smtp/imap server on
internal network

All,

I am fairly new to tracks and I am trying to see if I can setup tracks to
use smtp/imap services from our internal mail server. I do not have direct
access to the mail server, but I can request email accounts and even request
for IPs in my control to be added to the anonymous email senders list if
needed. I have found it difficult to find information on how I might setup
this connection to the email server and I was curious if anyone else has
done this in the past. I am running version 2.0 in the form of a bitnami.org
stack. We have a Windows AD environment, if that helps. Thanks in advance
for your help and suggestions.

Brent
