Thanks for the info. It has been a few months since I set it up, but I think I have it running under mod_rails at the moment. The info from the web host is a little confusing, but I think you have given me enough to follow up with them on my hosting plan.

There are several discussions on the forum (archive is read-only on the website) and on this mailing list on using/configuring Tracks on FastCGI, but they date from years ago...

Hi everybody,

Does Tracks make use of Ruby on Rails with FASTCGI? I have attempted to figure out the answer myself, but my web programming skills are not very advanced and my Ruby skills are utterly non-existent so I haven't had much luck. The reason I ask is that I am upgrading my hosting plan, and the FASTCGI requirement makes a difference in which plan I choose.
