Subject: FS: BIG Tractor near Houston, TX (pictures)
1977 Versatile 500 tractor, sn.130065. This tractor starts and runs
great, no smoke or blow-by, it was running in the pictures. It has
5,491 hours and the tach works. Worked great to pull a dirt scraper.
It does not burn any oil. It has a 504 cu. in. Cummins V-8 diesel
engine and is rated at 192 horsepower with 160 horsepower to the PTO.
It has a 20 speed transmission (15F+5R) with a top speed of 27.4 MPH.
It has a new starter, batteries, alternator and paint job. The
steering is tight and the brakes work. The cab has heat and air, but
the AC compressor and lines have been removed and need to be
replaced. It has 23.1 x 34 tires about 60% tread. It has a 3 point
hitch, with toplink, 3 hydraulic remotes and 1,000 rpm PTO. It is 20'
long, 104" wide and 10' tall. It weighs about 15,000 pounds. This is
a good old tractor in very good mechanical condition and is for sale
