Hello fire-fighters, I wanted to give you a warning that the nightly test list is going to get even longer, at least temporarily.
I'm working on replacing our current cloudera test machine set-up (cdh5.1) with one that uses Cloudera Manager tool to define/control the hadoop set-up (cm5.1). On such nodes, trafodion installer is used to install/run trafodion rather than infra scripts that were just running it in the build tree. If there are initial failures on these daily cm5.1 jobs, I'll look at them as configuration/automation problems. Once the jobs are running well, we'll look at replacing all the cdh5.1 jobs with new cm5.1 jobs. -Steve Trafodion Jenkins has submitted this change and it was merged. Trafodion instances are installed/started using trafodion installer tool, rather than started in the build tree. When the nightly tests run well, then more cm5.1 nodes will be brought up to replace all the cdh5.1 nodes in all pipelines.
