GNU Emacs 22.2.1, Windows XP, TRAMP 2.0.57, Putty: Talking from Windows to Linux, I can't get past the "stty" in the environment setup. This appears to be the double prompt problem mentioned by Tony Foiani to Micheal Albinus about two years ago (17-Aug-2006). I think there were some suggestions and maybe even patches that were relevent. Has anyone solved or worked around this problem?
