Hi, here a case where it is a problem to quit emacs: Connection is up and remote host reachable:
1) Edit a file on remote host and don't save your changes. 2) Disconnect 3) Close emacs, when asked to save file you answer 'no' because connection is down. It's then impossible to close emacs.
