Hi Michael,
When I do
ssh -l smalik -e none cmslpc-sl5.fnal.gov
in a shell, it just logs me into the remote computer. Prior to this I
always use kinit -f [email protected] and then enter my password there. I
have used tramp successfully on my other MAC where I always do kinit on
a shell and enter my password before using tramp in emacs and I was
never prompted for a password.
Thanks
Sarah

Hi Michael,
Hi Sarah,
Thanks very much for your help. An ssh to [email protected]
from a shell works fine. Here is the result of the debug buffer:
21:11:36.222645 tramp-send-command (6) # exec ssh -l smalik -e none
cmslpc-sl5.fnal.gov
21:11:36.749525 tramp-process-actions (6) #
Permission denied (gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic,keyboard-interactive).
Process *tramp/scp [email protected]* exited abnormally with
code 255
There is no password prompt at all, Tramp could recognize. What happens
in a shell, if you call
ssh -l smalik -e none cmslpc-sl5.fnal.gov
Best regards, Michael.
