Replying to myself,
It seem there is a race condition inside "tramp-send-command-and-check"
Introducing a short delay (worked with "(sleep-for 0 100)") seem to fix the
problem:
(with-current-buffer (tramp-get-connection-buffer vec)
(sleep-for 0 100) ;;; <- delay here
(goto-char (point-max))
