This is kind of embarrassing, but here goes. Consider to scenarios: In emacs A.1) M-x find-file /[email protected] A.2) M-x shell A.3) echo $PATH v.s. In a terminal session B.1) ssh [email protected] B.2) echo $PATH
The PATH is different. Why? For example, is one a login shell and the other isn’t?
Possibly with the help of a /bin/sh usage around A.1 I’m confused
