After say an hour, if an ssh connection get stale,
if in a *shell*, we would just do
~.
$ ssh same.place.again

But apparently doing
$ emacsclient -n /ssh:same.place.again
will not unfreeze anything.

So perhaps the manual should document the only solution is to restart
the entire emacs, as tramp's firmly holds on to the now dead connection.

The only thing special I have in .emacs is
tramp-completion-reread-directory-timeout 3600

tramp-version "2.4.0"
