yes.  really, really weird!  i get an ange-ftp prompt for #!ino2...,
answer it correctly as if it had asked for ino2's, get the error
message and the file in a separate buffer!

i just have to find out what this is all about.  stay tuned.

it obviously isn't, because i just tried again on a fresh emacs
incarnation with definitely no tramp on the file-name-handler-alist.

don't rush it too much!  i think i'm not the only one appreciating
