Currently our payment adjustments are done thru what is called an A19 manual
process resulting in a paper check. This manual adjustment is not updating
our case management system electronically. For an adjustment to be made from
an 837 claim, and we do not have a means to adjust our current payment
system, will someone be required to submit an 835 adjustment transaction.
Bob P, we talked about this in the wg last week, but I don't think I
mentioned of the separation of processing here.
