Title: RE: x12 transaction data dictionary

Mike,
There is a separate overall guide available from wpc-edi.com that is called the "Data Dictionary". There is also "HIPAA Implementation Guide Table Data" which provides comma-delimited text file "data" from the guides. We were able to use this in preparing a gap analysis tool and anticipate additional uses with mapping transactions. Unfortunately, it used to be more affordable. Now WPC has you get it through them from DISA for a lot or a really lot of money depending on X12 membership. You can go to the wpc site and check these things out for yourself.

Subject: x12 transaction data dictionary

Hi All,
Does anyone know of "data dictionary" for the x12 transactions sets that
shows all of the data elements for each set & which fields are required?  I
do not mean the implementation guide...

Thanks,
Mike H.
