The various translator softwares (Seebeyond, Biztalk..etc.) available in
the market have inbuilt HIPAA schemas for different transactions. You can
validate your test file by running it against those schemas.

Is anyone aware of a place where you can send X12 files for verification or
of any software available to analyze the X12 file and tell you what is
wrong
with it? We have created a test file but don't know how to go about
validating it. Any help would be appreciated.
