HIPAA Standards (a.k.a. X12N Implementation Guides adopted for
HIPAA) are available from Washington Publishing Company at
www.wpc-edi.com. Other non-HIPAA-adopted Implementation Guides are
also available from this site.
All X12 Transaction Set Standards (on which the Implementation Guides
are based) are available only from the Data Interchange Standards
Association at www.disa.org.
Not all X12 Transaction Set Standards (e.g., 824) have Implementation
Guides. Not all Implementation Guides (e.g., X040) have been adopted
for HIPAA.
And for completeness, the National Council for Prescription Drug
Programs standards -- HIPAA and non-HIPAA -- are available from
www.ncpdp.org.
Good luck and be sure to have a credit card readily available should
you wish to obtain anything beyond X12N's HIPAA-adopted
Implementation Guides.

Regarding standards adopted by HHS, there is an 820 (Premium Payment)
and an 834 (Enrollment), but there isn't an 824.

We've seen reference to the 824 Transaction set and we don't see
documentation out on the WPC website for this set. Where can we find
more information about this 824 Transaction set?
