include a hospital, multi specialty physician practice, homecare/hospice,
mental health, etc, etc. (quite a variety of the healthcare provider covered
entities) --- my question is..... we receive payments from quite
a number of health plans and other than a couple of the major payers
(Medicare and one of our HMOs) we haven't really received any information on
what their plans for compliance are..... have any other providers taken the initiative
to contact their payers (if not all, at least the major ones) to get some
"baseline" information from them? On one hand, seems like a
good idea, on the other seems like quite an undertaking and would the results
be worth it?
