Ahhh, I didn't realize that particular two hour session from 1:00 -
3:00 on Tuesday afternoon was what you were referring to. In X12
parlance, this is a "provider forum", not an "informational forum"
[which is different still from an "open forum"].

Warning! X12 meetings are not free to everybody. Employees of X12
members pay no fees, but others do. www.x12.org has the specifics for
non-members.
At this particular upcoming Minneapolis X12 Trimester meeting, in
addition to HIPAA-related working meetings, there are three
informational sessions scheduled on HIPAA: two showcasing early
adopters, and one providing current information on:
Addenda, ASCA, and Next Annual Update Timings
Medicare's HIPAA Companion Documents.

If you are getting the word out, there will be a free HIPAA info
seminar at the X12 meetings in Minneapolis the first week in June.
The schedule is posted at www.x12.org. There are WEDI events posted
at their web site as well.
