     I didn't look at your patch, but in all likelihood it worked because
1.0.2 compiled in a standalone version of the LZO decompressor (removed
from CVS as part of the move away from bundling foreign code in transcode).
The NUV format does allow for LZO-compressed and non-LZO-compressed frames,
but if nothing else, the NUV sample you provided includes LZO-compressed
frames, so saying LZO is "not a requirement" is pushing things!
