I've seen this problem before, but only rarely, and I don't recall
under what circumstances (I don't even remember whether it was transcode
input or output that it happened on, but I think my gut feeling was that
mplayer was broken). Quick things off the top of my head: What command
line did you use? Does adding --export_asr 2 (for 4:3) or --export_asr 3
(for 16:9) help?
