(Again to the the devel list) Hi Francesco and transcode developers, first of all I would like to thank you Francesco for doing this last release!
Great to hear that you want to rescue the plugins! I think this is a good
idea.
Here I have some improvements mainly on the performance side of the video
stabilization stuff.
The attached patches contain the patches of Alexey (which are not yet in
transcode_1_1) and some of my other improvements. The tar file contains 6
patches.
I had some trouble with getting autoconf to enable the -msse2 switch for the
new inline sse2 stuff. I changed the configure.in and the
filters/stabilize/Makefile.am.
Weird enough I added the AC_SUBST(SIMD_FLAGS) but the SIMD_FLAGS remain empty
on my machine (Intel Core2Duo). Anyhow I used now the HAVE_ASM_SSE2 flag, also
since we probably want to honor the --enable-sse2 more than the autodetection
of the machine it compiles on. If there is a better way, let me know.
