Hi I use transcode to record v4l video. Everything is perfect BUT I ruthlessly remove any trace of pulse audio.
In order to set au levels while recording I'm considering pulse audio. Wunz-upon-a-time someone here opined that they would make a pulse audio input module. I don't see any sign (I tried, but it beat me) Is padsp a useable and reliable way to go. What is the collective wisdom of dealing with pulse audio? I can choose any distro to get the best options, at the mo I'm using ubuntu LTS (10.04) Thanks James
