first, it should be pvm3/Makefile.in. second, pvm3/Makefile.in is definitely in the official 1.0.2 tarball. finally, can you please post the entire output of the configure run, along with any options you passed to configure? my first guess is that something (like your shell, or maybe sed) is foobar on your system (or maybe you have some command alias(es) that are causing this, or maybe the tarball was incorrectly extracted?), but I don't have enough info to go on yet. -- <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
