You should actually say what version of transcode you are compiling
against which version of libavcodec, but I am guessing you are using the
latest already.
The problem seems to lie with the pkgconfig libavcodec.pc file, which
can not be found.
I take it that /usr/local/lib/libavcodec.so (and/or .a) really exists?
