[transcode-users] close gop?

I've noticed that dvdlab warns about not having closed GOPs in mpeg
files I've encoded on linux. The ovservable effect of this is the
inability
to make frame accurate chapter points, which I sometimes want to
do. Is there any voodoo available to make mpegs with closed gops
for DVD authoring in transcode or ffmpeg or something?
