Well, I hope you were able to understand how to handle
the .mp4 containers. I have no trouble with them, and
the strategies I use are those summarised in the verbose
comments of AviToVob. I hope you can someday come to
enjoy the innumerable benefits of plaintext that millions
of others take for granted every day.

I have no idea why this is happening.<br>

Check in your mail client's settings for sending mail and see if
there's an option to "send in plain text" that you can turn on (or,
alternatively, an option to "send in HTML" which you can turn off).
Is there anyone here that uses Thunderbird and can give more details
on disabling HTML mail?

The problem is, tcextract does not seem to listen to the -C
parameter.
That happens just with VOBs or with other formats (i.e.: AVI) too?
I'll take a look ASAP.
I haven't tried yet with anything but VOB files. I'll try a couple AVIs
as soon as I get a chance and will let you know.
Thanks,
I apologize again for the HTML messages. I normally have preferences
set for messages to be sent in either or both plain text or HTML as
requested by the recipient. I have no idea why only HTML was sent but I
have now excluded the group from HTML messages.
Had someone described the "rubbish" and other colorful descriptions, as
HTML I would have snapped to it much sooner. I did not, however, have
this issue before my MP4 to DVD question and I have posted many times
from Thunderbird without complaint.
I'm sorry again but it does seem as if some on this list are relatively
intolerant, or at least sarcastic. I am a newbie and want to learn. I
take clear direction well.
Thanks
