Hello
Out of curiosity, did you ever happen
to check whether the undersized files were actually encoded all the way to
the end?
Yes, they were.
I do have some other points of interest though. I noticed after encoding
had finished, if I restarted my machine, it would refuse to boot into XP at
all! The windows logo would come up for a while, but then the screen would
go black, with no graphical login screen appearing.
When I tried the same with Fedora, althouh it booted up fine, I observed
that programs seemed to be crashing very often, and some refusing to run,
e.g. Xine, which I was trying to play the undersized output files with.
Yours,
LS
