Since there is (of course) no API change between (gentoo) releases 1.1.0 and 1.1.0-r1 this is not possible. Have you read the links I sent?I downgraded to 1.1.0 and transcode (and mencoder) worked again, without recompilation.. I think the backtrace could be interesting for the xvid folks though (although my guess is that it is fixed in cvs anyway). Sebastian
