     Unfortunately, transcode 1.0(.2) doesn't work with the latest ffmpeg.
I seem to recall a patch to fix it being posted to this list; check the
archives.  A better solution would be to get dvdrip to accept transcode
1.1 (there shouldn't be many, if any, differences).

     Only the HEAD (currently 1.1) branch of CVS is actively maintained.
There was some discussion about releasing a 1.0.3 to deal with this, but I
think the decision was to try and get 1.1.0 finished up ASAP rather than
spend our time (very little--sorry, but that's the way it is) keeping 1.0
up to date.
