The only problem with filesize I ever had, was with Clepoatra, which slighlty exceeded 4GB :-) I tried to play the DVD with gxine and got the follwoing error: Expected NAV packet but none found Looks like some of the low-level libs like libdvdread or libdvdnav are buggy. As far as I know, most of the linux progs share either the lib itself or at least some of the code. This would explain why transcode, vobcopy and gxine alltogether fail reading this specific DVD.
