Hi people, I use this gadget for capturing AVIs:
http://www.archos.com/products/video/av_700/index.html?country=global&lang=en and for stuff I want to keep I use: http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/ (on FC6) to delete sections of the AVI I don't want, but for the first time I have two AVIs that I want to concatenate and avimerge looks likes the program for the job but when I run: avimerge -o t.avi -i RealistFilmUnit1.avi RealistFilmUnit2.avi the resulting t.avi has no sound and when I play it with xine I see lots of things like: [adpcm_ima_wav @ 0x54fb184]ERROR: step_index = 138 [adpcm_ima_wav @ 0x54fb184]unused byte should be null but is 49!! [adpcm_ima_wav @ 0x54fb184]unused byte should be null but is 17!! [adpcm_ima_wav @ 0x54fb184]unused byte should be null but is 34!! [adpcm_ima_wav @ 0x54fb184]unused byte should be null but is 83!! [adpcm_ima_wav @ 0x54fb184]unused byte should be null but is 67!! [adpcm_ima_wav @ 0x54fb184]unused byte should be null but is 129!! that I didn't get on the original AVIs. I tried using the "-c" switch with no improvement and there doesn't seem to be any other switches that might help . . any suggestions on what might be the problem?
