My pleasure. I think it's time for a bullet-point list of showstoppers for 1.1.0 released. I'll post my full-featured answer soon (this evening or tomorrow, since now I'm aside from development PC). In short, we're not too far from being ready to go alpha, but I still have a couple of issues to address in my TODO-list. As Andrew stated, writing new modules was and is one of major and most time-consuming task. Unfortunately they will not be in 1.1.0. So I'm afraid that 1.1.0 will not bring to user not so much visible stuff. We have done *a lot* of infrastructural work, getting foundations for new better releases, but not much is ready yet. Anyway, I'd like to ship at least a functional import_x11 module in new release :) bests, -- Francesco Romani
