The easiest way propably would be (not fast) to let the ImageMagick to combine the frame and the PNG logo by using the ImageMagick API wich is quite well documented. Do you guys have any plans to make the logo filter translucency compatible?
I'm not directly involved nor interested on this. I'll happily review patches and I'll surely commit if they met our criterions (see STYLE file in CVS HEAD branch). Either using ImageMagick for this or our code (see acilib functions and maybe libtcvideo too) is fine to me. I'm of course also fully avalaible for development questions and/or hints.
