Hi,I'm in troubles trying to understand what that filter actually does. I only understand it does not dynamic compression. I'm not sure its effect is different from volume rescaling (accomplished by using the astat filter in a first run, and then the -s option with astat output in the actual encoding). So what does it do, really?
