I was looking to save space, my presumption was that divx compressed better (I
might be wrong)

Bit of a problem, here the source files are a bit all over the place.  Some in
dvix already, but with AC3 sounds or ogg sounds ( I can't understand why sound
system makers don't want to use free codecs)
