filter_detectsilence 0.1.3 (CVS HEAD) should now be able to do so, even if report silence boundaries in frame units, not (yet) in seconds. It is yet very poorly tested, but if you like to give it a try, feedback very welcome :) Bests, -- Francesco Romani
