I'll try to rephrase: I'm pretty confident that is tcdemux that *causes* the hangup on some unclear circustamces. Workaround is to _avoid_ to use tcdemux, and that (at moment of writing) implies to use a module different from `vob', so the `mpeg2' one. If your original transcode commandline does not include any -x option, please use -x mpeg2 (or maybe) -x mpeg2,ac3 otherwise, just change -x SOMETHING,OTHER in -x mpeg2,OTHER HTH, Bests, -- Francesco Romani // Ikitt
