Well, it says "Download the latest version of transcode from CVS", but I downloaded 1.1.0-alpha6 and it works fine, no crash. I added -M 2 to the mpeg2enc options, but that's not what fixed the bug, because 1.0.x crashes with -M 2.
Do you want me to go through the bug report with 1.0.4 instead? I don't know what the development process looks like nowadays - I was more familiar with it back when Thomas and Tillman were running the show. :-)
