In reply to Maik Holtkamp's message "Re: [transcode-users] Problem transcoding dv files to mpg" send Monday 12 November 2007 (11:03):
Hello Maik, thanks for the tips, what ever I do the problem is with mp2enc! I assume some kind of incompatibility of libs on my system though I have not realy message to proof this. **ERROR: [mp2enc] Error reading wave data =============== So I tried toolame but here is an other problem which I could not solve the m2v does not seem to be written.... What is happening here, is this the error? [export_toolame.so] cmd=toolame -s 48.000 -b 224 -m j - "/data1/video/mpeg/2007.09.16_17-55-40.mp2" 2>/dev/null The usage of - mplayer did not help... I am open to any kind of solution I just like to have the dv files as mpeg so that I can make a dvd with dvdauthor. So I am not bound to this script. If there is a better aproche I'd be happy to learn about it.
