Hi there

I am using transcode to convert captured NuppelVideo files with the aim of creating DVDs, and by using the cut or skip filters I can chop off leading/trailing material from the capture files. The sources are old VHS tapes and, inevitably, they have occasional visual glitches. These usually only affect one or two frames, and since they often occur in scenes with very little movement I suspect it would be possible to make a "repair" by cutting the offending frame (with skip) and cloning the preceding or following frames --- but I can't spot an existing filter which could do this. The cut filter won't allow you to duplicate ranges of frames (e.g. -J cut="10-11 10-11") and the slowmo filter doesn't take any options (I could imagine a -J slowmo="10-11/2" applying slowmotion by doubling the frames in the supplied range).

Am I missing an alternative trick here?

cheers
guy
