Hi, Andrew!

it happens right at the beginning. I can watch the VOB themselves without
problem directly from the dir where they're recorder.
Here's the set -x output . The libdvdread output is because of the new 4.1.3
available on slackware, but I have the same problem with the older libdvdread
package I've been using for some two years without issue.

I've uploaded here a small VOB file (10MB) on which the same issue occurs, as
well as the x264.cfg file I use, in case it may have an impact, at the
following URL :

http://rvdboom.free.fr/vid_test/

Here is the command I use :

nice -n 19 transcode -H 10 -a 0 -x vob,null -i /home/vdb/Media/DVD/test -w
1816,50 -J smartyuv=threshold=10:Blend=1:diffmode=2:highq=1 -M 2 -f 25 -Y
6,14,6,18 -Z 720x540 -R 1,/home/vdb/Media/DVD/test.log -y x264,null,raw -N
h264,aac,raw --config_dir /home/vdb/Media/DVD/transcode_config/pass_1 -o
/home/vdb/Media/DVD/test.m4v

Best regards,
