Hi All,

I am bringing up the new wiki, albeit slowly, due to
very limited time.

http://www.transcoding.org:8080/cgi-bin/transcode

The URL is temporary. It will be http://www.transcoding.org
when it goes "live".

The new edit policy is somewhat more restricted than
formerly, but this is because editors are now permitted
to upload arbitrary files... So it's actually a big win!

To be able to edit, you MUST send me your actual name,
and a preferred password.

Editors names will be their actual names, for example, the
two editing users so far are Phil.Ehrens and Carl.Karsten.

I encourage ANYONE who would like to contribute to go ahead
and send me their name and preferred password. I will not
turn anyone down without a good reason, and I will defer to
the other editors if there is a conflict.

Any pages migrated from the old wiki to the new test wiki
WILL be part of the real wiki, so please go ahead and treat
it as if it was "the real thing".

BTW, the new wiki is running on a Sheeva Plug!

Phil
