mp3 the audio, which seemed like a reasonable idea to a newbie, and worked
until sometime in the last 6 months.  I think some interaction between
dvd::rip and lame and or transcode has depreciated mp3 as a useable
operation.  I'm happy enough just to leave the audio alone now I know that's
the fix.  Hopefully the dvd::rip people follow this list, since it's
advertized as a thin wrapper around transcode...
