I've done a test on Oneiric (with the 1.1.5 ) and I hadn't none problem with to transcode Sherlock Homes DVD in a AVi. I don't have the time to do another one on MPEG. But I ripped the DVD without none problem on my Hard Drive. On which step have you had this problem ? Ripping the DVD or Ripping and converting this one ? You don't said us on which Distribution are you using. Which one ? You seem to have the latest. Is it a compilation or binary ? Best regards.
